We have seen no truer definition of home, something we have spent over a decade designing for, than what these groups work for every day; housing and welfare--for human and animal alike, access to nutritious foods, and community outreach through creative and educational practices. SKY HIGH FARM
Sky High Farm addresses food access and nutrition by growing and harvesting nutritious produce and meat exclusively for donation and distribution to the underserved in New York. Through partnerships with local, regional, and urban food banks and pantries, they have donated more than 66 tons of fresh produce and meat across New York State. Committed to regenerative farming, Sky High Farm is a model of sustainable agriculture, producing without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides. Their practice includes carbon sequestering, soil improvement and conservation, watershed protection, and biodiversity enhancement.

COALITION FOR THE HOMELESS
The Coalition for the Homeless is the nation’s oldest advocacy and direct service organization helping homeless men, women and children. They believe that affordable housing, sufficient food and the chance to work for a living wage are fundamental rights in a civilized society. Since inception in 1981, the Coalition has worked through litigation, public education and direct services to ensure that these goals are realized, and in that time has given more than one million people a way off the streets. The Coalition provides emergency food and clothing, eviction prevention, crisis services, permanent housing, job training and special programs for homeless youth to thousands of New Yorkers every day, while its advocacy fights to end the homelessness crisis once and for all.
